A New collection is unfolding…..“Garden of the Soul”
The “Garden of the Soul” collection is inspired by a small, timeworn book gifted to me after the passing of my beloved Nana (a talented artist in her own right). Once belonging to my great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Kelly, the eponymous book was given to “Eliza” in 1875 as she emigrated from Greencastle, Ireland to Philadelphia.
Worn by generations of hands and filled with quiet hopes, “Garden of the Soul” carries the presence of those who held it before. When I first held it and read the inscription inside, I felt an immediate and profound connection - a living thread to my past.
From that moment, a seed was planted.

Over time, through careful observation, introspection, and studio practice, that seed has taken root and flourished. The paintings of the “Garden of the Soul” collection offer a contemplative space where the natural world and human connection intertwine.
Inspired by generations of creative women in my family, these botanical paintings unfold as quiet memoirs - visual meditations on growth, memory, and place. Each piece reflects the life cycle of plants as a parallel to human experience, serving as a gentle record of connection, possibility, and continuity.
